Wildlife definitely is. We use the verb 'is' with wildlife. Just think about this sentence: 'Life is challenging'. We never say 'Life are challenging'. Similarly 'Wildlife is in danger', and not 'Wildlife are in danger'.

Because firstly, wildlife is singular. And secondly, if the noun is singular, we use 'is'. And if it's plural, we use 'are'.
So as you guess right now, we must say :
