late معنی سابق میده مثل Late President, Late colleague یعنی زمانی که فرد اون شغل یا موقعیت رو نداره یا فوت شده مثل: Late Shah of Iran.

last میشه آخرین کسی که اون شغل یا موقعیت رو داره یا داشته.
