در زبان انگلیسی شانزده زمان فعل (Verb Tense) وجود داره که هشت تا از اونها زمان کامل (Perfect Tense) هستند. شماره‌های 3، 4، 7، 8، 11، 12،  15،  و 16 زمان‌های کامل هستند.

Past Tense:

1. Past Simple: (walked)

2. Past Continuous: (was/were walking)

3. Past Perfect: (had walked)

4. Past Perfect Continuous: (had been walking)

Present Tense:

5. Present Simple: (walk/walks)

6. Present Continuous: (am/is/are walking)

7. Present Perfect: (have/has walked)

8. Present Perfect Continuous: (have/has been walking)

Future Tense:

9. Future Simple: (will walk)(to be going to walk)

10. Future Continuous: (will be walking)

11. Future Perfect: (will have walked)

12. Future Perfect Continuous: (will have been walking)

Future in the Past Tense:

13. Future in the Past Simple: (would walk)

14. Future in the Past Continuous: (would be walking)

15. Future in the Past Perfect: (would have walked)

16. Future in the Past Perfect Continuous: (would have been walking)
