ترتیب کدام جمله درست است

یکی یکی گزینه ها ر و بررسی میکنیم:

A- there were none of my favorite cookies left when I had tea. 
این جمله از نظر ترتیب واژگان و گرامر درسته. 

B- there were left none of my favorite cookies when I had tea. 
صرفا به خاطر  اینکه left  در جای درستی نیست، جمله غلطه.

C- there weren't left any of my favorite cookies when having tea
 

قسمت when having tea فاعل جمله مشخص نیست. اگه اینطور بود، جمله صحیح بود: 

there weren't left any of my favorite cookies when I having tea

D- there weren't any cookies of my favorite left when having tea.

این جمله علاوه بر اینکه ایراد جمله C رو داره و باید اصلاح بشه، ساختار  any cookies of my favorite هم غلطه.  

ساختار درستش اینه:

 there weren't any  of my favorite  cookies left when I had tea.

نکته: واژه left نقش صفت رو داره، لذا میشه به جاش از واژه remaining هم استفاده کرد.

 there weren't any of  my favorite  cookies remaining when I had tea.

وقتی که چای خوردم، هیچکدوم از کوکی های مورد علاقم نبود.

گزینه A مناسب‌ترینه

درود.

 A .there were none of my favorite cookies left when I had tea.

چون در زبان انگلیسی، وقتی از عبارت “none of…” استفاده می‌کنند، معمولاً بلافاصله بعدش اسم،  (cookies)، میاد و بعد صفتِ «باقی‌مانده» (left) 

 The correct answer is D. 

گزینهٔ A درست و طبیعی است:

A. There were none of my favorite cookies left when I had tea.

معنی: «وقتی چای خوردم، هیچ‌کدام از شیرینی‌های مورد علاقه‌ام باقی نمانده بود.»

دلیل نادرستی بقیه:

B. There were left none of my favorite cookies...

از نظر دستوری کاملاً ناممکن نیست، اما بسیار غیرطبیعی و نامعمول است. در انگلیسی معمولاً می‌گوییم There were none ... left نه There were left none ....

C. There weren't left any of my favorite cookies when having tea.

عبارت weren't left any ساختار طبیعی ندارد.

همچنین when having tea فاعل مشخصی ندارد و در این جمله نامعمول است.

D. There weren't any cookies of my favorite left when having tea.

cookies of my favorite نادرست است. باید گفت my favorite cookies یا cookies that were my favorite.

when having tea نیز مشکل مشابه دارد.

پس پاسخ صحیح: A ✅

> There were/was + quantity + left

مثال:

There was some milk left.

There were a few cookies left.

There were none of my favorite cookies left.
