پرسش‌ها با دسته‌بندی (زبان انگلیسی => زبان انگلیسی => گرامر)

 I could not imagine how he was to turn their anger but he was twice the man the rest were,  آیا این جمله از نظر گرامری اشتباهی ندارد ؟ بخصوص جمله دوم  he was twice the man the rest were, 

since Else is left to be firmly tied to the word preceding it,  the correct possessive form('anyone's else) sounds ........  the accepted form in current English is......... لطفاً جای خالی را با مناسب ترین پاسخ پر کنید ! 

گرامر و ترجمه این متن  ؟  He was a person chosen for Divine favour, and a less truthful man than he might have been tempted to pretend that he had had a vision or heard mysterious voices, 

Come sailing with me tomorrow , come to see me try. این دو جمله پشت سرهم آمده است ، منظور گوینده جمله چیست ؟ و گرامر این دست از جمله ها درست است ؟ 

در این دو جمله چه تفاوتی وجود دارد ؟  It is easier to read French than to speak it . Reading French is easier than speaking it.

به این دو جمله توجه کنید  she said that he might not come . she said that he might not have come. چه استنباطی از جمله دوم دارید ؟ اگر هر دو یک معنی رو می‌رسونه چه نیازی بود که جمله دوم استفاده بشه و میشه؟ 

ایا در زبان انگلیسی هنوز هم میتوان بجای بکار بردن کلمه If ، از این روش استفاده کرد  Had there been a breath of wind we should have fallen on the six pirates who were left on the ship with us and gone out to sea,    این روش در محاوره هم بکار میرود ؟ 

از کتاب جزیره گنج if I don't have a drop of rum , Jim, I shall go mad , I shall begin seeing things,   در شرطی چرا از shall  استفاده شده است ؟ و در جمله بعد ایا بهتر نیست از to see استفاده کنیم ؟ 

به این جمله ها توجه کنید  the near side of a horse is the lefthand side,  don't come near , this bull is dangerous,  کلمه near  در جمله دوم قید است ولی چرا از  nearly  استفاده نشده است  don't come nearly, 

کدام جمله صحیح نیست و چرا ؟  she took a great deal trouble to please me ,  she took a lot of trouble to please me  she took many trouble to please me  she took much trouble to please me
