کراس کارملوز ( crosscarmellose sodium ) بیشتر به اسم CMC سدیم ( NaSMC ) یا َاکدیسول ( AcDiSol, Ac - Di - Sol ) معرفی شده است، کراس کارملوز یک پلیمر متصل از کربوکسی متیل سلولز سدیم است. این پودر سفید، سبب جدا شدن جریان آزاد یک قرص در روده می شود. کراس کارملوز سدیم در صنعت دارو و غذای کارایی دارد. کراس کارملوز نقش فروپاشی قرص در معده را دارد که در صنعت دارو سازی از آن بهره میگیرند. و در صنایع غذایی به صورت امولسیفایر کاربرد دارد ( 1 )

Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose ( SCMC ) has a cross - linked polynomial known as croscarmellose sodium. Croscarmellose sodium is an insoluble, hydrophilic, extremely absorbent material, resulting in outstanding swelling properties, while its fibrous nature gives it admirable water - wicking capacities. Croscarmellose sodium gives dissolution and disintegration characteristics, thus enhancing the bioavailability of various formulations. It has been used for avoiding adhesions of the epidural scar and postsurgical soft tissue in biomedicine. It is employed as a disintegrant in oral pharmaceutical formulations. While formulating tablets, croscarmellose sodium may be employed in direct - compassion and processes; it is also used in the textile and paper industry, as an insecticide, and in oil - well drilling operations. It acts as a protective colloid to reduce water loss ( 2, 3 )
