The ZPD is the sweet spot between what a learner can do alone and what they can only do with help.
Below it = Too easy → boredom 😴
Above it = Too hard → frustration 😩
Inside it = The growth zone → challenge support = learning 🚀

This idea comes from Lev Vygotsky, a Soviet psychologist who basically said:
“Don’t just test what a student can do alone — see what they can do when guided. ”
In Teaching Terms:
What a learner already knows = Actual Development Level ✅
What they can learn with guidance = Potential Development Level 🌱
The gap between them = ZPD 🛝
ناحیه رشد تقریبی یعنی محدوده ای که یادگیرنده با کمک معلم یا دیگران می تواند یاد بگیرد، ولی هنوز به تنهایی بلد نیست.

صفتِ proximal رشد رو توصیف می کنه نه منطقه رو. به همین دلیل منطقه ی رشد مجاور درسته
