Basically — everyone holds a piece of the story, and only by communicating can the full meaning emerge. 👥✨
📚 How It Works ( Step by Step )
Divide the text into sections — like 4 paragraphs or themes.
For example, an article about climate change might have sections on:
Causes 🌋
Effects 🌊
Solutions 🌱
Global cooperation 🌍
Form “expert groups. ”
Each group reads and discusses their section deeply — they become “experts” on it.
Re - group ( the jigsaw part ) .
New groups form where each student represents a different section — one expert per topic.
Teach each other.
Students explain their part to their new group members — everyone learns all parts through peer teaching.
Reconstruct the full text.
Together, they now have the whole story — comprehension deepens because they’ve built it themselves.
