**ایده مزخرف** یا **فکر احمقانه** ( در زبان محاوره )
به عبارتی گفته می شود که برای ابراز ناامیدی شدید، عصبانیت یا طرد کامل یک ایده، پیشنهاد یا روش به کار می رود
After spending three hours trying to understand why the correlation coefficient kept giving strange results the student finally realized that converting all negative values to positive before running the analysis was a freaking idea because it destroyed the natural direction of the relationship between variables and made the raw magnitude completely meaningless as a measure of association
