این اصطلاح یک روش محاوره ای برای اشاره به کسی است که هم به صورت تفننی و هم از روی عادت از مواد مخدر استفاده می کند. اغلب برای توصیف فردی که از انواع مواد استفاده می کند، نه فقط یک ماده خاص.
