The fact her legs are still crossed is really striking - - I'm not sure why. Hopefully that means she died quick and had no time to feel/realise what had happened to her. . .

I was thinking the same thing! Her body posture seemed to be relaxed so I daresay you're right in thinking death was sudden. Hopefully it was also painless
