Two Big Types of Attributions
1️⃣ Internal ( Dispositional ) Attribution
You blame the person.
Their personality, effort, ability, attitude.
Example:
He passed the exam because he’s smart.

She failed because she didn’t study.
Here, the cause is inside the person.
2️⃣ External ( Situational ) Attribution
You blame the situation.
Luck, difficulty, environment, the teacher, time…
Example:
He failed because the exam was too hard.
She arrived late because of traffic.
The cause is outside the person.
