I think "Continuous Improvement" happens when someone improve their skills or abilities by constantly  doing what is directly related to  it. For example if you are trying to improve your English writing skills,  it is better to  translate more.

That was my personal opinion before I  google it, it is a process that companies use to rich a higher level of achievement. It has 4 steps, identifying, planning, executing, and reviewing.
